Global statistics for AIDS-related death, HIV treatment, and new HIV inf...
(A) Number of AIDS-related deaths and of people receiving HIV treatment globally from 2000 to 2020. The Global Fund was established in 2002 and the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief in 2003, enabling the scale-up of ARVs in the following years, with a reciprocal decline in deaths.
