Authors with funding from agencies requiring Creative Commons Attribution licensing can be assured that the JCI will publish their paper using a CC-BY 4.0 license to be fully compliant with funding mandates including those under Plan S.
Preprint server and institutional repository posting. Authors are permitted to post manuscripts on bioRxiv and medRxiv, and are also permitted to post the final published version of the manuscript in institutional repositories.
