The products of plasma fractionation employed in this work were developed by the Department of Physical Chemistry, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, under contract, recommended by the Committee on Medical Research, between the Office of Scientific Research and Development and Harvard University. The fractions of bovine plasma were prepared at the Armour Laboratories, Chicago, Illinois, under contract, recommended by the Committee on Medical Research, between the Office of Scientific Research and Development and the Armour Laboratories. Study of the products was aided by the John and Mary R. Markle Foundation, the Douglas Smith Foundation for Medical Research of the University of Chicago, and the National Livestock and Meat Board.
