Superimposed are line plots of the proportions of US children and adolescents 5–11 and 12–17 years old, respectively, who received at least one dose of vaccine. The dashed vertical lines indicate the dates the Emergency Use Authorization was issued and subsequently amended (adjacent text indicates coverage; refs. 2–5) for the different age groups. Both data sets are freely available on the CDC website (19, 20).
