Autoimmune polyendocrinopathy-candidiasis-ectodermal dystrophy (APECED) is a rare
autosomal recessive disease caused by mutations in the AIRE gene. We report the case of a
female patient with a 967-979del13 mutation in the AIRE gene. Her medical history included
autoimmune hypoparathyroidism, Addison disease, and chronic mucocutaneous
