Renal microsomal cytochrome P-450 monooxygenase-dependent metabolism of
arachidonic acid generates a series of regioisomeric epoxyeicosatrienoic acids that can be
further metabolized by soluble epoxide hydrolase to the corresponding
dihydroxyeicosatrienoic acids. Evidence exists that these metabolites affect renal function
