Dendritic cells (DCs) are potent antigen presenting cells, described as the initiators of
adaptive immune responses. Immature monocyte-derived DCs (MDDC) showed decreased
CD14 expression, increased cell surface markers DC-SIGN and CD1a and enhanced levels
