B lymphocytes cause post-stroke cognitive decline in mice. We therefore evaluated the
association between autoantibodies and post-stroke cognitive decline in a prospectively
collected human cohort. The mini-mental state exam (MMSE) was administered 30, 90, 180,
and 365 days after stroke. Antibody titers to myelin basic protein (MBP), proteolipid protein,
