Background To date, only 1 controlled study has found a drug (haloperidol) to be efficacious
in augmenting response in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) refractory to
serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SRI) monotherapy; patients with comorbid chronic tic disorders
