Anomalies characteristic of central nervous system demyelination: radiologically isolated syndrome

The patient is a 35-year-old woman who developed recurrent headaches. She had no
neurologic history. On physical examination, she has no abnormality. Brain MRI shows T2
hyperintense lesions suggestive of a demyelinating disease. One lesion is enhancing on T1-
weighted with contrast images and spinal cord MRI, demonstrating a cervical cord lesion
