More re-cently, Murlin (4), Kleiner (5) and Paulesco (6) have tried the effects of aqueous extracts of the pancreas intravenously, on depancreatized ani-mals and have found transitory reduction in the percentage of blood sugar and in the sugar ex-creted in the urine.
