Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) is an intraductal mucin-producing epithelial
neoplasm that arises from the main pancreatic duct (MD-IPMN), secondary branch ducts (BD-
IPMN), or both (mixed type; Mix-IPMN). These tumors are visible grossly and on imaging
studies as cystic dilations of the pancreatic ducts, and are sometimes associated with
