Cellular adaptation response to a myriad of stressors is key for survival. The
lysosomal/autophagy pathway is inextricably connected to the stress response regulation.
Two transcription factors, TFEB and TFE3, have recently emerged as master regulators of
this degradative pathway. Their function modulating different cellular pathways will be
discussed.
