OBESE (ob) mice cannot be distinguished from normal mice for the first 4-6 wks. of life.
Thereafter they increase rapidly in weight until they are about 4 times the weight of normal
animals. The condition is due to a recessive gene which also causes sterility in the
homozygote. APG
Abstract
OBESE (ob) mice cannot be distinguished from normal mice for the first 4-6 wks. of life. Thereafter they increase rapidly in weight until they are about 4 times the weight of normal animals. The condition is due to a recessive gene which also causes sterility in the homozygote. A. P. G.
