Patients with X-linked lymphoproliferative syndrome (XLP) experience excessive T cell
proliferation after primary Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) infection, due to mutations in the
signalling lymphocyte activation molecule (SLAM) associated protein (SAP) molecule. We
