Bullous dermatoses are a variety of autoimmune skin diseases that are characterized by the
presence of bullae or blisters. Most of these diseases are associated with substantial
morbidity, and a few may result in death. Although most general approaches to the treatment
and diagnosis of these entities are similar, the diagnosis of the specific disease is important,
because the most appropriate dosage and timing of some commonly used medications vary
