Summary Background and Objectives: The adhesion ligand von Willebrand factor (VWF) is a
multimeric glycoprotein that mediates platelet adhesion to exposed subendothelium. On
endothelial cells, freshly released ultra‐large (UL) VWF multimers form long string‐like
