Publisher Summary This chapter primarily discusses the results obtained in the preparations
of purified thyroid peroxidase. Two different preparations of thyroid peroxidase were used for
the studies described in the chapter. The first preparation, referred to in this chapter as Prep.
I, was isolated by a procedure. The second one is more highly purified preparation, isolated
by a modified procedure described and is referred to as Prep. II. In a study described in the
