Lipoprotein lipase (LpL) hydrolyzes chylomicron and very low density lipoprotein
triglycerides to provide fatty acids to tissues. Aside from its lipolytic activity, LpL promotes
lipoprotein uptake by increasing the association of these particles with cell surfaces allowing
