cGMP-dependent protein kinase type I (cGK I), a major constituent of the atrial natriuretic
peptide (ANP)/nitric oxide/cGMP signal transduction pathway, phosphorylates the
vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP), a member of the Ena/VASP family of
