The cardiac troponin T (TnT) I79N mutation has been linked to familial hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy and a high incidence of sudden death, despite causing little or no cardiac
hypertrophy. In skinned fibers, I79N increased myofilamental calcium sensitivity (Miller, T.,
