Dynamin is a 100-kDa GTPase required for receptor-mediated endocytosis. It is specifically
targeted to clathrin-coated pits where it self-assembles into helical rings and is believed to
be required for late stages of clathrin-coated vesicle formation. 1, 2, 3 Self-assembly of
