Chronic neutrophilic leukaemia (CNL) is a rare disease characterized by persistent
leucocytosis consisting almost entirely of mature neutrophils, increased leucocyte alkaline
phosphatase (LAP) score, elevated serum B12 and uric acid levels, bone marrow
granulocytic hyperplasia and absence of the Philadelphia chromosome (Ph')(Cervantes et
