The drug-induced long QT syndrome is a specific form of tachyarrhythmia that may
complicate therapy with a range of compounds [2, 3]. This syndrome consists of a marked
QT-interval prolongation on the electrocardiogram, often accompanied by an exaggerated U
wave, associated with polymorphic ventricular tachycardias of a characteristic undulating
