MATERIALS AND METHODS Radioactive materials. D~-[7-~ H] Norepinephrine
hydrochloride (specific activity 5 c/m-mole).[WIDopamine hydrochloride (specific activity 1 a5
c/m-mole, generally labelled) and~~-[* H] dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) acetate (specific
activity 10 c/m-mole, generally labelled) were obtained from New England Nuclear
Corporation, Boston, Massachusetts. The [* HIDOPA was purified by adsorption on alumina
and elution with 0 2 N-HCl just before use.
