Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) induces adhesion molecules on endothelial cells
during inflammation. Here we examined the mechanisms underlying VEGF-stimulated
expression of intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM-1), vascular cell adhesion molecule 1
(VCAM-1), and E-selectin in human umbilical vein endothelial cells. VEGF (20 ng/ml)
