The low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein (LRP) is a multifunctional endocytic cell-
surface receptor that binds and internalizes a diverse array of ligands. The receptor contains
four putative ligand-binding domains, generally referred to as clusters I, II, III, and IV. In this
