with a real time video digitizer, an interactive control unit and a graphic tablet. Together with
the corresponding software modules this system can be used for a number of image
processing procedures in microcirculatory research including image enhancement,
measurement of morphological parameters and image brightness as well as determination
of vessel diameter and blood flow velocity.
