Apolipoprotein J (apoJ) has been shown to be the predominant amyloid β-peptide (Aβ)-
binding protein in cerebrospinal fluid. We have previously demonstrated that the endocytic
receptor low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein-2/megalin (LRP-2), which is
