The CD27 belongs to the NGF-R, a family of type I transmembrane receptors present in most
T cells. The soluble form of CD27 can be found in body fluids, and elevation of serum levels
is observed in T cell activation. Preliminary studies indicate that measurement of sCD27
levels might be of use in the evaluation of immune responsesin vivo. Systemic lupus
