We investigated the neuroprotective effect of glial-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) upon
alcohol-exposed B92 cultures, as well as the role of the cytoskeleton and mitogen-activated
protein kinase (MAPK) pathways in this effect. Ethanol (EtOH) was added to cultures, either
