The immunohistochemical distribution of bombesin-like immunoreactivity in the central
nervous system of the rat was revealed using a rabbit antibody against [Glu7] bombesin (6–
14). In radioimmunoassay, the antibody had minimal cross reactivity with substance P
thereby enhancing the significance of histochemical controls proving that the
