Tumour necrosis factors in immune regulation: everything that's interesting is… new!

M Pasparakis, L Alexopoulou, E Douni… - Cytokine & growth factor …, 1996 - Elsevier
Tumour necrosis factors have been classically studied as molecules central to the
pathogenesis of infectious, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The recent generation
of mice deficient in TNFα, LTα, or their receptors, has provided exciting new insights into the
physiological role of these molecules in the development of secondary lymphoid tissues and
in the organisation of the Immoral immune response.
