Kinases in the phosphoinositide three-kinase-related kinase (PIKK) family include ATM
(ataxia-telangiectasia mutated), ATR (ATM-and Rad3-related), DNA-PKcs (DNA-dependent
protein kinase catalytic subunit), mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin), and SMG1
