Neurotensin (NT) is a gut peptide that plays an important role in gastrointestinal (GI)
secretion, motility, and growth as well as the proliferation of NT receptor positive cancers.
Secretion of NT is regulated by phorbol ester-sensitive protein kinase C (PKC) isoforms-α
