Compound A (CpdA), a dissociated glucocorticoid receptor modulator, decreases
corticosteroid-binding globulin (CBG), adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), and
luteneinizing hormone levels in rats. Whether this is due to transcriptional regulation by
CpdA is not known. Using promoter reporter assays we show that CpdA, like
