Self-renewal and differentiation by spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) is the foundation for
continual spermatogenesis. SSC self-renewal is dependent on glial cell line-derived
neurotrophic factor (GDNF); however, intracellular mechanisms stimulated by GDNF in
