Transforming growth factor–β (TGF-β) inhibits cell proliferation, and acquisition of TGF-β
resistance has been linked to tumorigenesis. A genetic screen was performed to identify
complementary DNAs that abrogated TGF-β sensitivity in mink lung epithelial cells. Ectopic
