Addition of apolipoprotein (apo) E to rabbit beta-very low density lipoproteins (beta-VLDL)
has been shown to result in a marked enhancement of their binding and uptake by various
cell types. Apolipoprotein E binds to lipoprotein receptors and proteoglycans. To distinguish
