BACKGROUND/PURPOSE: Transfection of the HLA-B27 gene into normal Fischer rats
induces phenotypic changes similar to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This study
investigated the benefits of 2 doses of hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) on the manifestations
