The diagnosis of metaplastic (sarcomatoid) carcinoma (MSC) of breast often requires
immunohistochemistry with a cytokeratin (CK) panel to distinguish them from phyllodes
tumors (PT), primary sarcomas, and fibromatoses. CK staining may be heterogeneous in
