Control of fatty acid homeostasis is crucial to prevent insulin resistance. During fasting, the
plasma fatty acid level depends on triglyceride lipolysis and fatty acid re-esterification within
fat cells. In rodents, Rosiglitazone® controls fatty acid homeostasis by stimulating two
