The respiratory burst oxidase is responsible for O2-production in stimulated neutrophils and
B lymphocytes. Components of this oxidase include cytochrome b558, a membrane-bound
flavohemoprotein; the cytosolic polypeptides p47phox and p67phox; and one or more small
