Some Merkel cell carcinomas (MCC) have been reported to regress spontaneously. To
clarify the mechanisms of spontaneous regression (SR) of MCC, we analyzed the TUNEL
index, the labeling index of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), the labeling index of
