Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which inhibit cyclooxygenase (COX) activity, are
powerful antineoplastic agents that exert their antiproliferative and proapoptotic effects on
cancer cells by COX-dependent and/or COX-independent pathways. Celecoxib, a COX-2-
