• Antitumor reactive cells can be generated from lymphoid organs of mice bearing
subcutaneous (SC), but not liver or lung, tumors by in vitro sensitization with irradiated tumor
and interleukin 2. To examine whether visceral tumors mediated tumorinduced suppression,
