Platelets undergo shape change upon activation with agonists. During shape change, disc-
shaped platelets turn into spiculated spheres with protruding filopodia. When agonist-
induced cytosolic Ca 2+ increases were prevented using the cytosolic Ca 2+ chelator, 5, 5′-
