Application of classification schemes to the enteric nervous system

Assignment of names to structures, behavioral events, organic compounds, molecules etc. is
an early step as new avenues of life sciences investigation progress and new discoveries
are made. This arises naturally out of convenience for cognitive discourse on new findings at
the level of the investigative group. The new terms then become part of the language of the
laboratory for facilitation of description of the information in scientific conferences and the
