Cleavage of CgA by plasmin: TCA precipitability. Human 125I-CgA was incubated with either buffer (shown as 100% TCA precipitability) or streptokinase (100 U/ml) plus 2 μM plasminogen (closed squares), 0.2 μM plasminogen (closed circles), or 0.2 μM plasminogen plus 0.2 μM α2-antiplasmin (closed triangles). Solubility in 13% TCA was determined at the indicated time points and subtracted from 100% to give percentage of TCA-precipitable counts.
