Uptake inhibition of iduronidase by anti-iduronidase antibodies in vitro.

Tolerant (Tol) dogs have very low or undetectable antibody levels and show little to no uptake inhibition. At the higher antibody titers in nontolerant (Nontol) dogs, there is near-total inhibition of enzyme uptake into cells. The degree of uptake inhibition corresponds to antibody levels in a sigmoidal distribution (r2 = 0.96).
